Cooperation and outreach
The development of an active dialogue with the community at large is being increasingly important for Swedish universities. This means not only the general public but also organisations such as schools, public authorities, and commercial enterprises.
In addition to outreach activities based in the city of Göteborg, the Faculty makes full use of its "outstations" to reach a wider range of individuals and organisations. These include the marine field stations at Tjärnö and Kristineberg, and the DaCapo college in Mariestad, where we work in collaboration with the town council.
