Within the EU economy only, Freight transport and logistics employ 6 million and add value of some 900 billion euro. Freight Transport and Logistics interacts with virtually all industrial and public sectors and affects every citizen´s daily life. The Logistics and Transport Management programme prepares you for taking on truly multifaceted challenges, requiring a balance between theoretical and practically oriented skills. You will develop your thinking from functions, components and details into relationships, flows, chains, processes and systems. You specialise in either general logistics and supply chain management or in maritime transport. You will benefit from our strong cooperation with the logistics industry, Chalmers University of Technology and Edinburgh Napier University in both education and research. Many programme alumni are now in leading positions in manufacturing and trading firms, in the logistics industry as well as in the public sector.
The programme consists of 60 credits core courses, 30 credits elective courses from other Master's programmes at Graduate School and a 30 credits Master Degree project. The elective courses can for example be within public management, environmental sustainability, event and tourism, management and international business. The electives may vary from year to year.

Förkunskapskrav:
The applicant must have been awarded a Bachelor´s degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen) from an internationally recognized university and be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internationally recognized test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent. The level of English must be equivalent to English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School. The applicant´s university education must also include A) a minimum of 60 higher education credits (hec) in one, or a combination, of the following subject areas: Business Administration, Industrial Management, and Economics, Or B) at least a Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Natural Science or Law and also a minimum of 30 hec in one, or a combination, of the following subject areas: Business Administration, Industrial Management, and Economics. In addition the education must include a minimum of 15 hec in Statistics, or 7.5 hec in Statistics and 7.5 hec in quantitative methods and/or Mathematics.
